Things can be going your way for days, and then BAM!!!! Something totally unexpected happens that throws you off right into left field. You start to sweat, your heart starts to race, you cannot control it. You become completely overwhelmed. Your thoughts race into the future, and strive to arrive. Your thoughts go into the past, and fret to regret. Take a few minutes to BREATH, slow down, and stop. Close your eyes and take deep breaths in and out. Understand that as quickly as the situation came, the situation can be fixed…MENTALLY.

Imagine...
...change is easy, quick and lasting.
...internal peace, in spite of an ever changing world.
...you really do have power to create your tomorrow.
Believe...
...real change starts here, where you are right now.
...no thing or person out there has the power to create or change your life.
...your life is a mirror reflection of your beliefs, thoughts, feelings, choices.
Choose ...
...to delete your negative mental chatter and self talk
...to train your brain to change your life.
...stillness speaks more in moments than years of scattered chatter.
...to take back your power within.
...to let the stress filled world off the hook.
ENJOY THE POWER & BEAUTY OF YOUR YOUTH.

Are People Really Still Smoking??

The Great American Smoke Out.
Brought to you by the American Cancer Society.
I mean people are really STILL buying and smoking so many cigarettes a day?? How can you tell your children it is bad for them to smoke, then go out and buy a pack??? Think of all the second hand smoke, even to your animals??? My uncle used to smoke so much, his dog died of lung cancer. And that's no joke.
Last year 443,600 people died in the US from smoking cigarettes. In times like these, every one's worried about the swine flu, the world ending in 2012, or a hurricane hitting Connecticut. This is your health, your life. Do something about it. I know it's hard, I know it's REALLY REALLY hard. But if you can start by just not smoking that FIRST cigarette first thing in the morning, you got a chance, kid. If you are interested in using medication to cut down, you can also get PAID!!! Yale University has a smoking study that uses medication to cut down your smoking, plus you get a pay check at the end--BOOYA!!. Go to this website to Plan Your Quit Day:

To Do or Not To Do
DO be nice to waiters. The people you meet on the way up might be the ones you'll need on the way down.DON'T judge a book by it's cover (or a blog by it's owner).
DO get a job. And sitting around waiting for your friends to get out of work does not qualify.
DON'T be proud to be known as The Bitch. Because even though it's funny to say, everyone still thinks you're a bitch.
DO switch up your shampoo; it does wonders for your hair.
DON'T stay in a relationship because somethin is better than nothin. It doesn't work like that, honey. Move on.
DO remember to tell people you love them. You never ever know when you'll see them again.
DON'T say gay, say lame.
DO giggle at your own reflection in the mirror when you first wake up.
DON'T take life too seriously; you'll never get out alive.
DO laugh so hard you are crying, even if it's in front of other people.
DON'T be afraid to try something on you wouldn't normally wear. Step out of your box.
DO always always always feel confident in yourself and your abilities.
